If you recall in March, 2013’s highest grossing actor Dwayne Johnson revealed that he and DC had been having discussions about which DC Comics character he would be right for. Back then the speculation was wild with choices like Lobo, John Stewart/Green Lantern, Black Adam, and Martian Manhunter. In a recent interview with Total Film he gave some updates on his role and informed us than an announcement is coming very soon.
“I will say this. There’s a character out there that we’re going to announce very soon that I’m going to play, and I’ll just say this: This character has the power of Superman, he can throw down. Just say the word. That’s all I’m going to say.”
